Forks over Knives is a documentary that explores the claim that most all of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled and  even reversed by eating lots of vegetables and avoiding animal and processed foods.

I don’t know about you, but I can’t get enough of healthy living documentaries. They fascinate me. But then again, that’s probably why I became a health coach. Regardless, these documentaries offer something for everyone. They are only an hour or 2 our and they offer an easy to understand visual display of  why and how to get healthy. Sounds good to me!

I particularly like this documentary. Although I don’t subscribe to the philosophy that every person should eat the same way and avoid animal products, I do believe that most Americans can do lots of good in their bodies by cutting down on the animal products and eating A LOT more vegetables! I believe that everyone is unique, and while many people do extremely well avoiding animal foods, some need it to thrive. This is called bio-individuality. And its a process to listen to your body to learn what works best for you.
